Coloring ideas for this drawing
- Golden brown caramel, deeper where it pools at the tips.
- Red or green apple below the drip, whichever you prefer.
- Sprinkles in several bright colours, one per oval.
A caramel apple is made by dipping the fruit, cold and dry, into hot caramel: the gap in temperature is what sets the shell in one go.
They turn up at harvest fairs and on Halloween night, up on a stick, usually rolled in sprinkles before the caramel hardens.
