Stack of Carved Pumpkins with Candles Coloring Page
Coloring ideas for this drawing
- Three or four oranges, so the pile does not go flat.
- Bright yellow in the heart-shaped eyes, softer in the rest.
- Cream candles with the wax paler where it runs down.
Hollow it out first, carve it next, put the candle in last: the Halloween lantern is always made in that order.
You still have to cut a small hole in the top. Without that chimney, the flame runs out of air and dies within minutes.
A hollowed pumpkin lasts three or four days before it starts to sag, which is why they get carved the day before the 31st. When there is only one, it waits on a porch step.
