Two children stand on either side of a snowman taller than both of them, wrapped up in hats and scarves, arms raised. He already has his hat and his scarf, so the work is done and this is the moment just after.
Three characters means three sets of clothes to decide on, which keeps a child busy well past the snow itself. The snowman alone is on the page before, and the same winter turns up as a single flake.
