Santa Sliding Down the Chimney Coloring Page
Coloring ideas for this drawing
- Bricks in two terracotta tones, alternating row by row.
- A single flat red for the suit, so it reads against the wall.
- The sack in rough brown, like heavy cloth.
The Santa Claus of every picture book makes this move once a year, and the drawing catches him at the exact moment: sack still on the shoulder, one arm out for balance, the red suit already folding into the brickwork.
Every brick of the chimney is outlined separately, which hands a child a long calm stretch of work before the costume even starts. The hearth he drops into is waiting at the other end, and the same descent gets copied later on by a thief in a borrowed suit.
