  • A cream coat, barely deeper in the hollows.
  • A yellow cushion, to suggest the sunlight without drawing it.

A long-haired cat asleep on a cushion, curled into a closed ring with the tail wrapped right around to the nose, the way they do when the floor is warm.

Almost the whole outline is one continuous curve, which makes it unusually calm to colour and a reasonable thing to hand a child at the end of the day. The coat is drawn fuller still on the Persian.
