Rapunzel's hair does not stop at her shoulders: it runs down her front, crosses the floor in long loops and coils back on itself twice before leaving the sheet, with a small flower pinned above her ear and a laced bodice over a plain skirt. Hair covers more of this page than Rapunzel herself does.

All those coils are drawn as separate strands, which means a single blonde can be laid down three times over without any two loops touching. The slipper page is one back, and the mermaid whose hair does something similar is earlier on.
